Privacy policy
This policy describes the Spinned apps for iPhone and iPad and for Android, and this support website. The two apps do not work the same way. Each section names the platform it applies to.
iPhone and iPad
Information on your device
On iPhone and iPad, Spinned stores your best score, your best Daily Show score for each day, your music and sound settings, and simple game counters (such as how many games you have played and flies you have swatted) on your device. The app does not send this information to a developer-operated server. It does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
Optional Apple Game Center
On iPhone and iPad, if you sign in to Apple Game Center, Spinned submits your game scores to Apple for its leaderboards (including the daily Daily Show leaderboard) and reports the achievements you earn. Your Game Center profile and scores may be visible to other players according to Apple’s services and your settings. Apple manages your Game Center account and related information under Apple’s privacy policy. You can play without signing in and manage Game Center in your device’s Settings.
Game Center friends
On iPhone and iPad, after you finish a game, Spinned may ask for permission to see your Game Center friends. If you allow it, the app uses that list on your device only to show your friends’ best scores on the title screen. Spinned does not store your friends list or send it to anyone else. You can change this permission at any time in your device’s Settings.
Sharing your results
On iPhone and iPad, when you tap Share, Spinned creates a picture of your result and opens the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app or person to share with. What happens after that is governed by the app or service you choose.
Android
The Android app, package name com.silvadesign.spinned, includes no ads and no analytics, and it does not create a Spinned account. It does not use the internet except for optional Google Play Games. It does not send information to a developer-operated server, and it has no sharing.
On Android, Spinned stores your best score, each day’s Daily Show best, your settings, and simple counters (games played, fly swats toward an achievement, and whether a review was already requested). All of this stays on your device. It requests vibration. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location. Spinned uses Google Play’s in-app review prompt, which Google Play handles.
Optional Google Play Games
On Android, Daily Show, leaderboards, and achievements use Google Play Games. If you sign in, your Play Games player ID, scores, and achievements are shared with Google Play Games. Google handles that information under Google’s privacy policy. Signing in is optional, and the game works without it.
This website and support requests
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, or cookies to these pages. GitHub may process technical information, such as IP addresses, to provide and secure its services. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
If you choose to contact us through GitHub Issues, your GitHub username and the content you post are public. We use that information to answer your request and troubleshoot the app. Do not post sensitive or private information. Support discussions may remain available to help other players; you can edit your own posts or ask for help removing them through the support tracker. GitHub may retain records under its own policies.
Your choices and deletion
Deleting the iPhone and iPad app removes the score, Daily Show scores, settings, and counters stored on that device. Game Center records are managed separately by Apple. Deleting the Android app removes everything Spinned stored on that device (best score, Daily Show bests, settings, and counters). Play Games data is managed in the Google Play Games app/account. Neither app creates a Spinned account. You can manage your GitHub posts and account through GitHub.
Children’s privacy
Spinned does not include a developer-operated registration system or intentionally request personal information from children. On iPhone and iPad, Apple Game Center has its own account requirements and privacy policy. On Android, optional Google Play Games has its own account requirements and privacy policy. Spinned does not create an account of its own on either platform. GitHub, used if you contact support from this website, has its own account requirements and privacy policy. Children should ask a parent or guardian to contact support.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change. For questions about this policy or information you posted, contact Raul Silva through the Spinned support page.
